Professional Painting Tips and TechniquesWelcome! Many do-it-yourself painters wonder why professional painters get such great results, often in much less time. Purdy recently released two DVDs: one entitled "Professional Painting Tips and Techniques" and a second "Painting a Kitchen Tips and Techniques" to help non-professionals get high quality results. The first video is a general how to for "cutting in", properly loading and using a paintbrush, properly loading and using a roller cover, and properly cleaning the applicators. The second video is more detailed, highlighting painting techniques for cabinets, trim, ceilings and walls. Of course, the first step is to start with professional grade Purdy painting tools, but once you have the right tools, these videos will help. |
